Who We Are

We have projects ranging from the summit of the Cascade mountains all the way down to the Columbia River.
Typical projects include topographic surveys for road, bridge and flood projects, earth movement monitoring surveys, maintaining the countywide survey control network, legal boundary surveys and limited construction staking.
Survey Team
The survey team within Public Works consists of a Professional Licensed Surveyor, two Engineer Tech II’s and occasional assistance from other staff as needed. The Engineering Tech II’s are assigned to survey for about eight to nine months of the year with the remainder acting as a construction inspector during our construction season.

The construction team within public works consists of the County Engineer, Construction Manager, one Engineer-in-Training, one Engineer Tech III, and two Engineer Tech II’s. With multiple projects during the construction season, the Tech II’s and Tech III perform the inspection for projects.
