Columbia Northwest Engineering, PS, is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our team in serving the area of Moses Lake. This role includes supervising/mentoring technical staff and providing expertise on various land surveying projects.

We are trained and experienced in all areas of civil engineering, infrastructure planning, design, and construction as well as land development. Out team includes 6 licensed professionals, and 6 technical support staff. Established in 1992.
PLS Job Duties
Provide Quality Control of work performed
Ability to manage clients and network within the community
Ability to manage projects, including budgets and schedules
Be familiar with: Records of Survey; boundary surveys; boundary line adjustments; Plats; topographic mapping; conceptual layouts/site plans; deed plotting; preparation and set-up of survey data for field crew; post survey field data analysis; construction layout calculations; grade sheet computation; boundary survey resolution; ALTA/ASCM Land Title Survey preparation; construction as-builts; surveyors and or layout sketches; preparation of metes and bounds descriptions; project datum conversion/transformation, coordination with CAD, prepare survey crew information packages and field assignments; data collector transfers; coordinate lists and worksheet plotting; and other duties as assigned.
Current WA state Professional Land Surveyors License
Five (5) years experience as a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor
Survey Group and Project Management Experience
Valid Washington State Driver's License
Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Carlson; GPS; Total Stations and Robotic; Civil 3D a plus.
Salary 120K to 130K, DOE
