Cowlitz County Public Works - Engineer Technician III – Survey

Location: Kelso, WA

Salary: $67,332.00 - $79,212.00 Annually

General Position Summary
This is a technical position that serves as a member of a survey crew, providing survey work on Public Works projects including preliminary, right-of-way, property and construction. This position acts as a Party Chief and/or instrument operator responsible for the operation of a full range of survey equipment including theodolites, automatic levels, rod level, transits, electronic measuring devices, and other equipment used to measure distances, horizontal/vertical angles and elevations. This position will receive work assignments from the Department’s Professional Land Surveyor.
