Professional Land Surveyor or LSIT

Larry Steele & Associates (LSA) is a well-established and growing Professional Land Surveying firm located in beautiful Bellingham, Washington. Our firm’s steady growth has created an opportunity for a Washington State licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or LSIT with the right level of experience. We're looking for someone who demonstrates professionalism, initiative, excellence, and integrity in their work. Someone who's a leader and able to effectively manage/direct land survey projects for our clients ranging from government to private clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Current WA State PLS license with 3-years of project management experience. In lieu of PLS licence, applicants with LSIT and at least 5-years overall experience will be considered.
• Strong project management experience and commitment to quality, communication, budgets, and schedules.
• Experience with ALTA/NSPS, boundary, and topographic surveys.
• Experience with FEMA Elevation Certificates, LOMA/LOMR documentation and processes.
• Experience with construction survey calculations and staking.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Land Development Desktop software – proficiency in other industry specific software a plus.
• Shows initiative by actively researching and pursuing project opportunities.
• Team leadership by example.
• Willingness to learn from and mentor technical staff.
