Lisser & Associates, PLLC is looking for an experienced Survey Tech. person. We are a land surveying/land use consultation firm located in Mount Vernon, WA. We service Skagit, Whatcom and Island Counties. We are an extremely small company (1 field crew). Our field crew work on all aspects of the industry…not just pounding hubs on construction sites. We strive to promote within to advance our employees careers and prepare them for licensure through mentoring and hands on learning opportunities.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year experience (2 years preferred, schooling counts for experience) with knowledge of field procedures and survey principles.
• Experience with construction staking, topographic mapping, FEMA Elevation Certificates, levels, proper field notes, plats and boundary surveys.
• Experience with Trimble/Spectra, GPS equipment, Survey Pro data collector software, CAD.
• Ability to work in a one or two person crew.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Positive attitude, willing to learn, and works well in a team environment.
• Full time position with competitive wages and full benefits after a probationary period.
• This is for a field crew position and will be required to work in all weather conditions.
Physical Conditions:
Must be physically fit, able to walk over uneven surfaces, stand or sit for extended periods of time, some stooping, crawling, crouching, climbing, heavy lifting, hammering, carrying survey equipment and supplies, manual and physical dexterity.
