Snohomish County’s GIS Asset Management Group is seeking applicants for a vacant Engineer Technician IV position. This position inventories the county’s road asset data using a combination of Trimble’s MX7 mobile mapping system, Trimble’s MX office software and ESRI’s ArcGIS software suite. Snohomish County’s exceptional georeferenced imaging system is unparalleled in Washington State. The collected road asset data is incorporated into geodatabases and used by hundreds of Public Works employees to perform inspections and maintenance of Snohomish County’s 1600 miles of road system.
