Mtn2coast is continually evolving and growing and we are in need of another leader to help Mtn2coast continue to grow. Including managing projects and staff at all levels. About MTN2COAST:
We have been in business since 2011 and continuously growing. We have 4-5 field crews and 4-5 office staff. Our motto is “Where sound practice, innovation, and client service collide”. We regularly provide boundary surveys, topographic maps, ALTA surveys, site plans, right-of-way surveys, utility surveys, legal descriptions and exhibits, boundary line adjustments, subdivisions, construction staking and as-built surveys for federal, public and private clients. We pride ourselves on strong and long-standing relationships with our community, multiple contractors, engineering firms, school districts, cities, state agencies, and tribes.

Professional Land Surveyor – Job Description and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
 AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and models, construction calculations, boundary surveys, topographic and design surveys, subdivisions, site plans, right-of-way plans, as-built drawings, legal descriptions, easements, exhibits, title research, etc.
 Project management, review and approvals – Likely managing multiple projects simultaneously and communicating with clients and field crews.
 Clear and consistent communication with clients, office personnel, and field crew members
 Proposal and bid preparation
 Assist with the set‐up, operation, maintenance, and calibration of survey equipment when needed
 Work cooperatively with others, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all clients, office staff, and field crews
 Maintain quality control and keep the work on schedule and within budget.
 Training field and office staff with less experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
 Licensed Professional Land Surveyor or testing for PLS within a year.
 Must have a valid driver’s license, and clean record.

Required Skills
 Experience in operating GPS equipment, total station instruments, and data collectors.
 Experience with control, boundary, topographic surveys, construction staking, ALTA surveys, as-builts, platting, map preparation, land development, and right-of-way surveys,
 Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical analysis, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to perform complex surveying computations such as geodetic computations, GPS adjustments, traverse adjustment and analysis, and level adjustment and analysis.
 Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks on an ongoing basis with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
 Proficiency with survey instruments including total stations, levels, GPS, and levels
 Proficiency with computer programs including, AutoCAD, email, Microsoft Office, and spread sheets
 Great problem-solving skills and detail oriented
 Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with clients, office staff, and field crews
 Willingness to work overtime as needed
 Strong work ethic with motivation and commitment to completing tasks
 Work both independently and as a member of our team
 Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at once
 Able to successfully work in a fast-paced work environment with the flexibility to handle changes with short notice
 Willingness and able to work in the field as needed
