David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) is looking for a Senior Survey Office Technician with Civil 3D or comparable Microstation skills for our Puget Sound team. This position is located in our Bellevue, WA office. This person will be an integral part of our group which strives for good communication, self-motivation, and completing quality work products for our clients.

Position Duties:
• Provide office survey support to the field crews.
• Responsible for record mapping, ALTA maps, parcel maps, and topographic surveys.
• Prepare maps, record research, and field crew prep.
• Work closely with Survey Manager and Project Surveyor.
• Perform research, design and calculations for survey and mapping projects using Civil 3D.
• Operate standard survey equipment in the field such as Total Stations, GPS, levels, etc.
• Operate electronic data collectors.
• Assist with boundary determinations and procedure analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Land Surveying/Civil Engineering or high school diploma and equivalent work experience.
• Field survey experience and general engineering plan reading skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (2019), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center and GPS data processing a plus
• 4-10 years of survey drafting experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D
• Experience with Trimble survey systems
• LSIT certification
